Summary

UNDOOMED is private by design. We use Firebase Analytics and Sentry to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports for app improvement and bug fixing. This data does not contain personally identifiable information and is used solely for analysis and bug correction. There are no ads and no advertising trackers in the app. All settings and detailed usage stats (e.g., your Clarity Score) stay on your device.

Data We Collect

We collect anonymous usage data and crash reports to improve the app and fix bugs.

Account: Not required; no account is created with us.
Personal identifiers: None collected.
Usage analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., feature usage, app interactions) to understand how the app is used and improve user experience.
Crash reporting: We use Sentry to collect crash reports and error logs to identify and fix bugs. This includes technical information about errors but no personally identifiable information.
Advertising: None.

This data is used solely for app analysis and bug correction and is not shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

If UNDOOMED ever introduces optional cloud features, we will update this policy and request consent before collecting anything.

On‑Device Processing & Storage

The app stores preferences, filters, optional time‑limit state, and local statistics on your device to operate features. Removing the app removes this data. If enabled, the Parental Lock PIN is salted + hashed and stored using the device’s secure enclave/keystore where available.

Permissions

UNDOOMED uses minimal permissions necessary to function:

Network access: To load websites inside the in‑app browser.
Local storage/cache: To store preferences and temporary web content.

We do not request access to contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or location for app features. Third‑party websites you visit may request their own permissions; granting those is your choice and governed by their policies.

Third‑Party Sites & Cookies

When you open social platforms inside UNDOOMED, those sites may set cookies or process data under their own privacy policies. We do not control third‑party processing and do not receive this data. You can adjust cookies/permissions per site within the in‑app web experience.

Children’s Privacy

UNDOOMED is not directed to children under the age required by local law (e.g., 13 in the U.S., 16 in parts of the EU unless parental consent applies). If you believe a child provided data to us (we do not run servers), contact us and we will provide guidance.

Data Deletion

Local data (on your device)

You can delete all local data (preferences, filters, statistics, etc.) by:

Resetting the data via the option provided in the app (if available), or
Uninstalling the application to completely remove its local data.

Analytics data (on our third-party servers)

Data collected by Firebase Analytics and Sentry is anonymous and aggregated and contains no personally identifiable information. This analytics data is stored on Firebase and Sentry servers and cannot be deleted individually because it is:

Completely anonymous (no link to your identity)
Aggregated with data from other users
Used solely to improve the app and fix bugs

Due to its anonymous nature, this analytics data is not considered personal data under GDPR.

Your Rights (GDPR/UK‑GDPR/CCPA/CPRA and similar)

Because we do not collect personally identifiable data and do not operate user accounts, requests for access/deletion/correction relate only to on-device data, which you can delete at any time by uninstalling the app (see "Data Deletion" section above).

Anonymous analytics data collected by Firebase Analytics and Sentry does not allow us to identify you and therefore cannot be subject to individual access or deletion requests.

Security

We design features to keep data on‑device. Where sensitive values are used (e.g., optional PIN), we apply standard protections like salting + hashing and secure enclave/keystore storage where available.

International Users

Your on‑device data stays on your device. We do not transfer it to our servers. Third‑party sites you visit may process data in other jurisdictions according to their policies.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE PROVIDE THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND OUR PRIVACY PRACTICES "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

Our privacy practices will prevent unauthorized access to your device data
Third-party sites accessed through the app will protect your privacy
On-device data storage is completely secure from all threats
Your data will never be exposed due to device compromise, loss, theft, or third-party actions

YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP AND YOUR PRIVACY. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR PRIVACY BREACHES ARISING FROM:

Your device being lost, stolen, or compromised
Unauthorized access to your device by third parties
Third-party websites or services accessed through the app
Operating system vulnerabilities or device security failures
Your failure to secure your device with passwords/biometrics
Any data breaches, leaks, or exposures from any source

Data Accuracy

We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any on-device statistics, Clarity Scores, or usage data displayed by the app. Such data is provided for informational purposes only and may contain errors or inaccuracies.

Third-Party Data Practices

When you access third-party websites through the app, those sites operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for:

Third-party data collection, use, or disclosure practices
Changes to third-party privacy policies
Third-party data breaches, leaks, or security incidents
Third-party compliance (or non-compliance) with privacy laws

You acknowledge that accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.
