I grew up around computers. By primary school, I was repairing teachers’ laptops; in 2018, with zero formal training, I entered the Belgian Olympiad in Informatics and reached the national finals (33rd). That first brush with code stuck.
I completed a Master’s in Civil Engineering (Architectural Engineering) at UMONS. I thrived in tech‑centric courses — Data Structures & Algorithms (15/20), Parametric/IoT (16.5/20), and Smart Buildings/BIM‑optimization (17.5/20). For my thesis, I delivered an AI‑assisted design application for renovation projects, complete with an evaluation protocol. My supervisors highlighted execution quality beyond a simple prototype.
Beyond school, a year as Officer Candidate in the Belgian Armed Forces reinforced leadership, autonomy, and disciplined delivery. Today, I’m pivoting to software engineering to ship products that matter while studying.
